A shared commitment
to every learner.

These enrollment and policy summaries are based on the school’s 2026 Student Handbook, Condensed Edition. They are a guide for families, not the complete handbook.

Enrollment requirements and admission

Admission is open to learners who meet the school’s academic, developmental, and behavioral standards, regardless of race, religion, or nationality, provided the school’s mission and values are respected.

New students: Application form, PSA birth certificate, latest report card, good moral certificate, two 2×2 photos, medical certificate and immunization record, psychological evaluation, assessment/interview results, and baptismal certificate if applicable.

Transferees: New-student requirements, plus Form 137 or transcript and a recommendation letter if required. Returning students: Accounting clearance, updated student information sheet, and re-admission interview if required.

Admission depends on complete and truthful requirements, available space, learner readiness and conduct, and the school’s capacity to provide needed support. The school may defer, deny, or revoke admission after proper evaluation.

Confirm current requirements and submission arrangements directly with the school. Do not send health, psychological, identity, or child-protection records through social media or this website. This website has no document-upload form.

Age placement and school transitions

The handbook specifies: Nursery — at least 3 years old by August 31; Kindergarten — 5 years old on or before October 31. Learners turning 5 from November 1 to December 31 may qualify through an eligible ECCD program record or the Philippine ECD Checklist. Grade 1 — at least 6 years old and completed Kindergarten. Ask the school to confirm the applicable placement requirements.

Transfer-in requires credentials and conduct evaluation; midyear entry requires a valid reason and available space. Transfer-out requires a written parent request, full clearance, and settlement of obligations before records are released. Withdrawal requires written notice to the Registrar; any refund follows the school refund policy. Readmission requires a new application review and may require an interview or behavioral assessment.

Learning, attendance, uniforms, and devices

Students are expected to submit original work and complete homework, projects, and assessments on time. Quarterly reports and parent–teacher conferences guide support. Learners with grades below 75 must complete required remediation; tutorials or after-class intervention require parental consent.

Parents should notify the adviser before class when a learner will be absent and provide a signed excuse letter on return. Illness-related absences of three or more consecutive school days require a medical certificate.

Learners wear the prescribed clean uniform and ID, with PE uniform on designated days. Phones, tablets, and similar devices brought to school are surrendered to the Class Adviser on arrival for safekeeping and returned at the end of the day. Use requires teacher authorization for instruction or an emergency.

Safety, communication, and learner rights

Learners participate in required drills and follow staff instructions. Visitors follow school entry, identification, and authorization procedures. Dismissal follows authorized arrangements; changes in pick-up must be communicated through official channels.

Families use official circulars, the school calendar, parent–teacher conferences, communication notebooks, and official school digital platforms, and keep Registrar contact details current.

The handbook recognizes safe, inclusive, quality education; fair treatment and due process; privacy and confidentiality within the law; expression and participation consistent with school values; and protection from bullying, abuse, harassment, and discrimination.

Anti-bullying and child protection

Every learner deserves a safe and respectful learning environment. GLCAC prohibits bullying and harassment, including physical, verbal, social or relational, and online bullying. The handbook defines bullying as a willful act causing physical or emotional harm through an abuse of power or strength. Sexual misconduct, including unwanted touching or advances, sexually suggestive remarks or messages, explicit content, and online sexual harassment, is prohibited.

Report any incident or reasonable suspicion immediately to the Class Adviser and Department Head. This website and its Facebook link are not an emergency or confidential reporting service.

The school stops immediate harm, gathers facts fairly, and keeps records confidentially. Its response includes protecting and assessing learners, separate interviews, parent notification and documentation, counseling, and a decision. Parents are informed in serious or continuing cases. Both affected and offending learners may receive guidance and counseling. Repeated or grave incidents receive sanctions under due process and may be elevated to the Child Protection Committee or authorities.

Discipline is corrective, age-appropriate, restorative, and proportionate. The school considers gravity, intent, harm, age, prior record, repetition, and investigation findings. Fair process includes written notice, an opportunity to respond, impartial fact-finding, a written decision, and an appropriate response or sanction. Serious protective or legal concerns may be referred to competent authorities.

Appeals and other concerns

A student or parent may submit a signed written appeal to the School Principal within five working days after receiving a disciplinary decision, stating the grounds and attaching supporting documents. Under the handbook, the Principal and Disciplinary Committee decide within ten working days; that decision is final.

For other concerns, begin with the directly concerned person, then seek mediation from the Class Adviser or Guidance Counselor if unresolved. Continuing concerns may be submitted in a signed, detailed written complaint to the Department Head or Principal. The Administration investigates and provides a written resolution. If permitted, an appeal may be made to the School Board or appropriate committee under school procedure.

Bullying reports follow the immediate reporting route above; a learner need not confront the person involved first. Anonymous reports may be reviewed according to their merit and available evidence. Complaints are handled impartially and confidentially, subject to law and the need to investigate.
